Kumbada Creative Dance and Yoga From toddlers to teenagers, combination of movement, yoga and meditation provides a balanced practice to encourage personal growth. Inspiration for the dance comes from a wide range of music, creative designs, props and nature. Creative dance helps young people of both sexes develop grace, flexibility and the confidence to push their creative boundaries in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

AusKick The NAB AFL Auskick “Rookie” program has been designed for children aged five to eight years. It ensures that all children develop the fundamental skills required to participate in Australian Football. Children participate in activities designed to improve the various skills of the game, followed by a modified game in an environment which safely allows children to practice their Australian Football skills

Optus Small Sided Football
Optus Small-Sided Football (SSF) provides an enjoyable participation experience for young people of all abilities with a major focus on skill development through freedom of expression, minimal coaching, and limited emphasis on the scoreboard.Optus SSF is a modified version of the game designed to meet the needs of players aged 5 – 11.  The smaller sized fields with fewer numbers of players per team encourages more touches on the ball and opportunities for more goals to be scored.

Australian Musical Theatre (AMT)
Classes are facilitated by Dee Whittington who has many years experience with children and youth of all ages in the areas of creative movement, drama and music, with fabulous outcomes for the participants.New Students are welcome to come along for a ‘try out’ session on the first week of each term.Play Up at Burrinja

The emphasis for this age group is on creative play and improvisation. Classes are designed to stimulate the imagination of young children, through participation in various drama, music and movement activities.

AMT is a theatre school of the future with an original approach to teaching like no other school. Coaching students from 3-18years, the school offers a ‘for fun or for the future’ approach specialising in Musical Theatre and Dance training. The Musical Theatre syllabus combines Dance, Drama and Voice practice, which allows children to learn and be confident in all three skills leading to performance related experiences.

Sessions – Mondays and Saturdays term time. All classes are held at Burrinja.
